About me
Margaret is a 1993 Summit alumna and has dedicated her career to nonprofit advancement and fundraising. She currently serves as the school's director of philanthropy, having previously served as campaign director, during which she led Summit's largest capital campaign. With more than 20 years of fundraising experience, she has held roles at Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC, Capital Development Services, and St. Paul's Episcopal Church, building deep expertise in fundraising strategy, donor engagement, and campaign execution.
Margaret has served on the boards of The Women's Fund of Winston-Salem and Salem Academy Alumnae and holds memberships with the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the North Carolina Planned Giving Council. She earned her undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University and an MPA from UNC Greensboro.
